Have you produced a short film (up to 10 minutes)? Would you like to see your work on the big screen? Would you like to win an award for your institution? Then why not enter their films into the Inspire Film Festival?
This year’s Inspire Film Festival will be held at the Tamworth Assembly Rooms in Tamworth, Staffordshire on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July, 2010.
Organised exclusively for students by students, the festival is open to anyone studying at college, university or school. We are looking for film/media students to enter their short films into the following Inspire Film Festival categories: Drama, Documentary, Animation, Music Video.
Students are also allowed to submit work completed within the past three years, which hasn’t been submitted into last year’s Festival.
As we (the Festival Organisers) are film students ourselves, we understand the importance of showcasing your work, as well as rubbing shoulders with the right people. That’s why we’ve designed each and every event to be action packed, educational, inspirational, and full of opportunity… and all this for FREE!
If your film is nominated for an award, your work could be sitting in front of the likes of TV film critic Barry Norman and BAFTA award winning Director Asif Kapadia (Last years VIP judging panel). Prizes will be awarded in each category, with an additional prize being presented to the best in festival. There will also be awards presented to the institutions where winning students studied.
