Andy Ellis, Class of 2002 | Lost Village Fest 27th-29th May 2016

Andy-Ellis_2002Graduate Our BA (Hons) Media Production graduate, also MSc International Business, Andy Ellis is the Director at Major Label and he is organising Lost Village Festival in Lincolnshire from 27th to 29th May. The fest is a ‘musical journey like no other‘ said Andy:  More than a music festival, Lost Village is an immersive experience taking place in a long forgotten forest – a surreal world misplaced in the sands of time. As you wonder its leafy corridors you’ll discover places such as the Abandoned Chapel, Burial Ground and Forgotten Cabin. One minute you’re dancing to disco under a canopy of leaves, the next you’re face-to-face with one of the village’s native inhabitants.

A kaleidoscopic array of music, global street food, comedy, relaxation and live performance awaits all who enter.   The Lost Village journey encompasses legendary DJs such as Fatboy Slim, Greg Wilson and Norman Jay, alongside underground talents such as Eats Everything, DJ Koze and Ben UFO. Live music comes from Jack Garratt, Loyle Carner, Tom Misch and many more, whilst the Lost Theatre plays host to a wide range of forward-thinking comedians, including Katherine Ryan, Joel Dommett and Sam Simmons. When it comes to eating, the adventure continues… A plethora of global street food vendors, such as Breakfast Club, Buddha Bowl and Smokestak will be located in the Lost Village Basecamp, whilst exquisite Tribal Banquets, curated by the Michelin starred Michael O’Hare and Lee Westcott, will be taking place in a secret woodland location.

And when it’s time for your tribe to recuperate, just head to the Lake of Tranquility Wood-fired hot tubs, yoga, massage and holistic treatments will soon have you ready for action, once more. Gather your tribe and ready your senses… Lost Village Chapter II is about to take place.
