British Independent Film Festival 2013 – Update

On Saturday 11th May, we’re showing two feature length films – SAVING THE TITANIC at 12pm (telling the story of the team of shipbuilders and engineers who attempted to save the stricken vessel.)

SANCTUARY is screening at 2.15pm (a drama set in Poland and Ireland and starring Jan Frycz and Anne-Marie Duff)

On Sunday 12th, there’re two feature length films and a selection of 8 short films. The features on Sunday are DEAD CAT at 12pm (Romantic comedy set in London – possibly with a cast & crew Q&A afterwards – to be confirmed) and GEEZAS at 4.45pm (“Dodger is sent to Los Angeles by his London Gangster father to retrieve his baby sister and the cash she ran away with. Things don’t go as planned, putting Dodger and his new crew in the sights of West Hollywood’s notorious Gay Mafia”).

The 8 short films (2.15pm on Sunday) include THE VOORMAN PROBLEM (Starring Martin Freeman and nominated for Best Short Film at this years BAFTAs), AMORES PASSEGEIROS (Winner of Best Foreign film at the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival last year) and short films selected for the SXSW, Tribeca, Seattle, Nashville, Phoenix and NY Shorts film festivals, amongst many others.

Tickets are £6.30 for a individual screening, £10 for a Saturday ticket, £15 for a Sunday ticket or £20 for a Weekend ticket.
