The School of Media is hosting four special events in June as part of the Lincoln Film Festival, celebrating the Lincoln Film Society’s 60th anniversary. All screenings will be at the LPAC, starting at 6.30pm.
Tuesday 4 June: The Cinematic “Canon” – screening of Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’, introduced by Professor Brian Winston.
Tuesday 11 June: Cinema and the Middle East – ‘Waltz with Bashir’, introduced by Profesor Brian Winston.
Tues 18 June: The Films of Humphrey Jennings – a programme of screenings of Jennings’ work introduced by James Patterson, Director of the Media Archives of Central England (MACE).
Tues 25 June: Cinema and Graham Greene – ‘The Third Man’, introduced by Professor Neil Sinyard, Lincoln Visiting Professor for Film and Director of the Graham Greene Festival
