An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated media enthusiast to apply their media skills and expertise in a traditional print environment. The post has been created as a result of an innovative Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project between Mortons Media Group and the School of Media at the University of Lincoln. For further information and informal enquiries please contact Colin Reiners, creiners@lincoln.ac.uk Tel: 01522 886216.
Mortons Media Group produces a large range of magazine titles, including titles in the classic & modern motorcycle sector, scootering, steam railways, heritage transport and farming. Mortons Media also produces specialist publications, major annual classic bike shows, and resells material from Europe’s largest motorcycle archive.
The project aims to implement multimedia digital publishing technologies and methodology to transform a traditional print publisher of specialist subscriptions into an e-publisher, linking a community of users.
The KTP associate will be employed by the University of Lincoln for 2 years and will be based at Mortons Media Group in Horncastle, Lincolnshire, subject to their employment practices and conditions of work. The successful candidate will be supervised both by Mortons and an academic from the University of Lincoln.
Great opportunity for recent graduates. KTP’s are a great first step into employment – allow you to apply the skills you already have from University but also allow you to continually develop whilst earning a really good wage!
