We have an opening for a Project Officer to lead on a University based knowledge transfer project, ‘Creative Industries Support Network for Atlantic SMEs.
Building networks of practitioners and small businesses across the creative industry sectors in Wales, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and France, the project will develop new techniques, products, innovations and market opportunities.

Areas for focus in Wales will include:
• The potential for a range of interactive digital media (such as multi-touch technologies and 3D modeling) to be employed in heritage interpretation, museum displays and other forms of public engagement with ‘expert knowledge’.
• The use of digital modeling technologies in the design process, such as ceramic design, sculpture, graphic design, product design, jewellery, packaging, fashion and textiles.
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified graduate or practitioner in the creative industries, media production, the arts or design fields to work in a university based research and knowledge transfer environment, to manage the day to day operational delivery of a European Union funded project, and to work with creative and cultural businesses across the region.

We have an opening for a Research Assistant to work on a University based knowledge transfer project, ‘Creative Industries Support Network for Atlantic SMEs’.
Building networks of practitioners and small businesses across the creative industry sectors in Wales, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and France, the project will develop new techniques, products, innovations and market opportunities in the areas of 3D modeling and Interactive digital media. The Research Assistant will work with qualitative abd quantitative methodologies to
• Conduct a literature and policy review of the creative and cultural industries in Europe • Complete market analysis of trends by sub-sector • Contribute to a SWOT analysis of each of the five regions (with emphasis on interactive computing, film, music, publishing, software and games sectors)
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified post-graduate to work in a university based research and knowledge transfer environment, to manage the day to day operational delivery of a European Union funded project, and to work with creative and cultural businesses across the region.
