Alumni post produce heritage film

Recent LSM graduates, Warren Hayward, James Martin, Gideon Marriott and Leanne Bacon had some valuable work experience contributing to the post production of ‘The Forty’, a film made by  Lecturer Dan Frodsham. The film charts the painstaking work of conserving an exquisite Renaissance fresco in Famagusta, Cyprus. Dan sent us an update on the film’s success:

Andy Smith, class of 2012

While at university I felt it was important to concentrate on my work but also keep my ears down for job opportunities. This is really important in the 3rd year as in a few months you’re not a student any more and you want to get far in an industry relating to the course you’ve been doing for the last three years!

I currently work as a Technical Operator for Satellite Information Services, a company based in both Milton Keynes and MediaCityUK, who broadcast horse and dog racing to betting shops all around the world. They also have the largest outside broadcasting division in the country. Continue reading

Olympic Games presenter opportunities

We’re looking for new presenting talent for the live venues at next year’s Olympic Games. Working with a production team, the presenter’s role will be to entertain and inform the public before, after and during events. They’ll have to vox pop the crowd, interview sportsmen and women and introduce the action. The application closing date is Sunday 4th December.
