We’re running two great opportunities for filmmakers at the moment that may be of interest to your students and wider network:
BFI Doc Next Media Lab. Apply by – 29th April. We’re looking for 10 filmmakers to become part of the BFI’s Doc Next Media Lab. As part of the Lab you’ll receive a £750 bursary, technical film training from professionals, tutoring on different documentary styles, methods and ideas, and the chance to develop and hone your art into something special. Student Ents: Apply by 24th April. Our new termly brief, designed to give students the financial and marketing support to run a successful creative event for their peers. The event could be anything an exhibition, screening, social or talk we don’t mind as long as it has a creative focus. What’s more, we’re giving away five £200 pots of cash to enable our members to host events at universities nationwide. Further information / application
