Creative England – BFI statement

The Minister for Culture and the Creative Industries, Ed Vaizey, has announcedThe British Film Institute will become the lead strategic body on film and the distributor of Lottery funds to UK film-makers from April 2011.

Matthew’s film in Salford Film Festival

My name is Matthew Volp, a 1st year doing Media Production. I wanted to let you know that my film, “A Mind At Peace”, that I directed in my final year at college, has been selected for the Underexposed section of the Salford Film Festival on Wedneesday 17th November. It was also shown at the launch of the festival on Wednesday 10th.

Latest news from Sarah Barrow:  We just heard that it WON the award for best film in that section. Many congratulations Matthew. [21 November]
