Becca Weaver, class of 2010

“You have to have a lot of determination. If this is the industry you want to be in, then don’t give up. It may take years, but if you’re passionate, it’ll show through.”

After handing in my final assignment in 2010, I only stayed at Lincoln for another month. I was tempted to stay longer of course and make use of the University’s equipment and try to delay the realisation that my student life was over, but I was pretty confident that I was going to get a job in London, or at least an internship quite quickly. Abergale needs your help

Hi, my name is Abi Bremner, I graduated from the University of Lincoln in September 2011 with a first class honors degree in Media Production. I am currently living in Brisbane, Australia and wondered whether anyone from the School of Media has any contacts out here that they could put me in touch with.

I am currently looking for work experience and internships to develop my cv so that I can then begin applying for more senior roles and positions. Any feedback or advice would be greatly received as I really want to try and get sponsorship out here and in the long run apply for residency. Look forward to hearing from you, Abi Bremner

If you can help, please comment on this post, or contact Peter Dewrance, lismalumni@gmail.com.
