It is literally three years ago since I wrote my first blog for the LSM page. I know this because I just read it again to remind myself what I wrote in preparation for writing this entry. Hopefully my grammar has improved since then!

Three years ago I had been working for a little while on a show called My First Place, a real estate show about first time homebuyers. I was a production coordinator for the show so I was in charge of getting the legal releases required for the show so we could film people and locations. I loved this job, it was great fun. Adam Luff updates from the USA

Hello everyone! Well it has almost been a year since I left the United Kingdom to study at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. After meeting Sarah Barrow who visited San Francisco for a conference and showing her around both the city and the Academy, it was suggested that I give an update blog…which I am happy to do of course!

Since my last blog back in September 2011, I have completed two semesters and seven courses. The classes have ranged from writing short scripts, filming short films, directing actors, editing film footage etc.

LSM graduates’ film praised by Hillary Clinton

Congratulations!

 “Hear Our Voices”,  a film made by Lincoln Media Production graduates and shown at the first meeting of the new Global Counter-terrorism Forum in New York has won praise from US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Produced by Tom Mallion and directed by Khurrum Mahmood, the film was commissioned by the Global Survivors Network to tell the stories of survivors of terrorist attacks around the world.

After I graduated in BA Hons Media Production back in 2008, I found myself in a bit of a standstill. Although I was still thinking of ideas and wanting to write screenplays, I ended up in an office job. During the height of the recession, I was grateful to have a job.
