New Year, New Head of School | Dr Emma Watts, LSFM

University of Lincoln School of Film & Media staff and students welcome our new Head of LSFM, Art Historian, Dr Emma Watts. She said: I am delighted to be back in Lincoln after almost 21 years and thrilled to have joined LSFM. It is a priority for me to learn how the school ticks. I am looking forward to a full year ahead with some exciting projects in the pipeline, some challenges and many opportunities.

Emma has worked in various roles in academia, fine art and the creative industries in the UK, Australia and Hong Kong.

Meet the Graduates | 2017 Welcome

Meet-the-Graduates-logo-1024x435Head of LSFM Professor Steven Peacock gave a warm welcome to current and former students at the School’s alumni industry networking event Meet the Graduates. Thanks to all for participating. Our Grad Question Time was hosted by Steve Smailes (Class of 2012) with alumni from 2002 to 2017 who shared their experiences, tips and advice about the world of work – at home and abroad. We loved the live link-up with video editor Philip Roberts (Class of 2006) from Crytek in Frankfurt.
