Andrew Elliott organised a conference, Rethinking Epic, at Lincoln in July, with a line-up that included renowned international scholars in film history (Jeffrey Richards, Robert Burgoyne).
Last summer, George Horne , who now works as a the Director of Film and Photography at Proof Studios in Leicester, took time out between commercial commisssions to help two student friends in Creative Advertising make a short film.

Internships can be an extremely good place to start.
I am a producer creating promos, commercials, competitions and short form content for the kids’ channels Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito.

‘What is Rural?’ is a one-day symposium at The Collection, Lincoln, Friday 18th March 2011.
I’m co-organising this event with Kate Genever a farmer/artist, alongside our current exhibition ‘Taskscape’ at the Collection.

I’m not sure when I plan to return to the UK, or if I ever will long term. I like to go by the theory that you only live once and you should seize every opportunity while you can, so for the time being at least Beijing is my home!
