WarnerBros-logoUniversity of Lincoln (UoL) is delighted to welcome Visiting Professor Rick Senat for a Special Lecture about An Illustrated History of Warner Bros on Wednesday 21st February (Part one) 1pm-4pm, (Part two) 5pm-8pm in the Jackson Lecture Theatre, Brayford Pool campus. The Uni said:  The event is FREE and open to ALL – current and former students, staff and friends. No registration needed – just turn up promptly at 1pm and 5pm. Rick will share insider stories and experiences from his impressive career with Warner Brothers – including a wide range of exclusive clips and still images straight from the WB archive.

Following a few years in Independent production in the UK and the US, Rick worked for Warner Bros. from 1976 until 2002 when he was Senior Vice-President of Business and legal affairs, responsible for activities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He has been associated with the Harry Potter films, Greystoke, Batman, Superman and a number of Stanley Kubrick’s films. More recently, he consulted on various productions including Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Troy, Alfie, Sahara, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, etc. He was Executive Producer of JK Rowling’s  The Casual Vacancy and the blockbuster 2016 movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. He is currently executive producing the sequel, Fantastic Beasts, the Crimes of Grindlewald starring Eddie Redmayne, Johnny Depp and Jude Lawfor release worldwide in November 2018. Continue reading
